Image making through painting and print-media allows me the freedom to explore color, shape, light, and material. The main themes I like to explore are capturing moments in time, lighting, and natural and industrial forms. Lately, I have been heavily aware of the passage of time and how fast and fleeting it is. Through my work, I am able to capture these moments from the day to day in a documentative way. Using semi-realism while playing around with colors helps me to depict these moments in a peaceful way. Hopefully, others make associations with their own memories and experiences through interacting with my work.
