I submitted my work. What now?

Be sure that you have paid the submission fee. If you submitted a Google Form, check your email for a copy of your submission response. If you submitted via Zeffy, you will have seen a confirmation message at time of submission.

When can I expect to hear back about my submission?

Selected artists will receive an email from our team 7-10 days before the exhibition opening.

Who can apply? What if I am not local to Chicago?

We accept applications from all over the world, for both the online gallery and in-person galleries. If you apply to the online gallery, admission is guaranteed except in extenuating circumstances. A cropped, 300 dpi digital documentation of your work will be presented in our online gallery on our website with an accompanying artist’s statement or biography.

Why do you charge submission fees?

Submission fees make it possible for our nonprofit to operate, including the costs of our galleries, promoting your artwork, and creating an engaged arts community in Chicago.
