From the artist: "My artistic journey really opened up when I decided color was a huge part of my art. I have used art as therapy and to express the intangible and indescribable experiences, emotions and thoughts, as well as trauma. When things in the outside world seem unbelievable and cruel my body reacts. The response is art and the trapped emotions are released from my body and available for interpretation. In this digital world, I take pride in creating tangible and tactile pieces of art. The sensory experience is important for me. Another component of my art includes found items as well as recycled materials. I believe that art can be made out of anything!"
