Lexi Alvarado is a visual artist from Blue Island, Illinois. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Eastern Illinois University in 2018 and currently resides on the northwest side of Chicago. Lexi has been creating vibrant works from her studio at the art collective Inside Town for the last 7 years, her artwork invites viewers to explore the multifaceted nature of identity and emotion. Through her blend of abstract and representational styles, she aims to capture the delicate balance between chaos and tranquility, to find harmony amidst the storm. Her use of color and form evokes a deep sense of introspection, encouraging audiences to engage with their own emotions and identities.
