What Couldn’t Be Said, What Remains, Remembers
Jenny Halpern’s What Couldn’t Be Said, What Remains, Remembers explores memory, beauty and mourning through 3-dimensional multimedia representation. She describes her work as, “… keepsakes and devotions made of wax, ribbon and dust; heirlooms that linger, honoring the sacredness of what once was.” Halpern received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Painting and Drawing, holds a BA in Visual and Communication Design from Purdue University, and an Associate’s degree in Fashion Studies from Parsons School of Design.
