In my collages I reconfigure found images with my own photography to create strong political narratives that both approach the dire need to preserve our precious planet and the environment ("Leaving East Palestine, Ohio"), women’s issues past and present ("Dreams Really Do"), and to connect the viewer with the themes of loss, loneliness, and isolation in a world that has given us myriad ways in which to communicate, but has also severed us and rendered us unable to voice our truths ("Lassitude: End of Summer"). Within every collage my aim is to convey a reflection of some aspect of humanity that people understand, that they see in their own lives, and the world around them.
