Isabel Cancelo is a Chicago based illustrator and writer who uses the science fiction and horror genres to explore themes of isolation, human connection, feminism, and environmentalism. She is a recent graduate from the STAMPS School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan. Isabel's passion for character and environment design comes from her inspiration from video games. She aims to create her own game one day, as she considers games to be an impactful and intuitive form of interactive art. Besides playing video games and drawing, Isabel enjoys reading manga, comics, and dabbling with electronic music production.
