"Portal" is the little sister to "Source". A small window that makes you wonder what is beyond it. This piece features a paper-mache orchid, laying on a lovely moss bed of acrylic and baking soda with vines underneath. I experimented with a number of household materials to replicate our world's natural textures, allowing viewers to see and feel that intention put into the creation of each piece.
