Loli DiSanto is a contemporary artist whose sculptural works blur the line between fine art, design, and adornment. Known for her bold, crystal-encrusted creations, DiSanto transforms unexpected objects into dazzling works of art she describes as “jewelry for the home.” Originally from Chicago, DiSanto grew up as a competitive figure skater, an experience that cultivated an early appreciation for movement, performance, detail, and sparkle. She went on to study physiology at Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs College before earning her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. After years in medicine, DiSanto ultimately returned to her creative roots and became a full-time artist after moving with her family to Florida. Her work is instantly recognizable for its meticulous craftsmanship and exuberant use of crystals. Each piece is created by hand, with thousands of individual stones carefully applied to sculptural forms. Her signature works include her jeweled eggs—symbols of renewal and transformation—as well as horseshoes, guitars, and playful pop-inspired objects. Through color, texture, symbolism, and extraordinary sparkle, familiar forms are transformed into something unexpected and entirely their own. DiSanto’s work has been featured in Bold Journey, Shoutout DFW, Voyage Dallas, and Canvas Rebel, as well as in the best selling book series Slay the USA: Chicago and Sarasota editions. Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States and is represented by galleries and design destinations across the country. At the heart of DiSanto’s practice is a belief that art should bring joy, invite curiosity, and encourage individuality. Her pieces are unapologetically decorative, celebratory, and meant to make their surroundings feel a little more extraordinary. Through her work, DiSanto invites viewers to find beauty in the unexpected, celebrate individuality, and, above all, always remember to sparkle.
