From the artist: “BODY is a constant in my work, exploring how we physically connect with the outside world and mentally connect with it. There has always been a separation between BODY and MIND for me, and art allows a bridge between that gap. Disabled bodies interacting with spaces is something I attempt to capture in an intimate, almost romantic way. Accommodations and routine action for comfort become more constant than any partner. Working with delicate image transfer creates a process where I can be still, and let control go. It creates a relationship of trust between canvas and hand.”
