Sabrina is a Chicago based artist who explores her body of work primarily through ink. From representational to abstract (and wherever else it may lead) she enjoys the range of action ink can bring from its spontaneity and fluidity to learning how to control and tame it. One specific body of work for Sabrina are micro-portraits. The process of painting and experiencing the result becomes intimate by bringing whoever or whatever down to a smaller scale. Sabrina loves that she can be as close as possible to her paper, her paint, and her brushes while working small.
