I submitted my work. What now?

Check that you've paid the gallery fee, then check your email for a submission response from Google Forms. Congrats, you've submitted to one of our Calls for Art!

When can I expect to hear back about my submission?

We contact artists at the end of the Call for Art submission deadline.

Can I edit my submission after it is submitted?

Yes. You can edit your submission after submitting by going back into the Google Form.

Who can apply? What if I am not local to Chicago?

We accept applications from all over the world, for both the online gallery and in-person galleries. If you apply to the online gallery, admission is guaranteed except in extenuating circumstances. A cropped, 300 dpi digital documentation of your work will be presented in our online gallery on our website with an accompanying artist’s statement or biography.

Why do you charge submission fees?

Submission fees make it possible for our nonprofit to operate, including the costs of our galleries, promoting your artwork, and creating an engaged arts community in Chicago.
