I monumentalize the dialogue between silent witnesses to life as they hold the weight of waiting, absence and longing. An overwhelmingly crowded flower field of figures appears frozen in time, locked in a moment of observation; of me, of each other, of nothing in particular. The framework of the gaze and its invisible web of tension plays into the ambiguity of whether the viewer is not only a spectator, but a silent witness as well. My work is rooted in observation and introspection, where vulnerability and emotional tension quietly coexist.
