I am a Puerto Rico based multi-disciplinary conceptual artist and my work explores broad concepts of awareness, vision, perception, obfuscation, syncretism and ultimately how these variables affect and influence behavior and control of behavior. I have a deep interest to engage and diffuse the culture of ignorance in our world and I employ the use of found objects, assemblage, iconography, textiles and fibers to implement the fusion of traditional craft with contemporary art in my work.

This series, Identity, is about the many layers of physical, spiritual, emotional and ethereal layers we place on ourselves to define our comfort.
