I truly believe anyone can do Art, you just got to find your medium. Personally, I enjoy melting metal and reforming it to my will. Whether it is welding or foundry you are controlling the magic and the science. When I learned what conceptual art is all about I embraced that every choice made in creating something had purpose and meaning. I like knowing why so I better know why I chose the materials, process and subject matter that I did. I was in fancy pants art school when 9/11 happened and needless to say I was inspired by how fellow humans reacted. All my black and white photography happened at the fancy pants art school where I really enjoyed playing with contrast and learning darkroom developing. My life perspective is of a cis/hetero redheaded mother and my uterus art highly reflects that.
